The original Polish Church in this community was St. John the Baptist Church
(incorporated in 1905)
- The original building was a wood-framed structure, built in 1905.
- The church was replaced with a brick building in 1924.
- In 1967, St. John the Baptist’s name was changed to St. John’s.
- St. John’s church merged with Our Lady of Lourdes in 1970 and the merged parish became Holy Spirit Church.
- St. John’s church building was demolished in 2018.
