Diocese Archives

The Diocese of New Ulm Archives has microfilm of records from parishes in the diocese. Record books have been microfilmed for safe keeping and are centrally located at the chancery. Nearly 100 years of sacramental records are available to family history researchers. By using the microfilm at the chancery, we are preserving the fragile original books located at the parishes which are subject to damage if repeatedly handled.

Requests should have as much information as possible:
– Name of person(s) and dates you wish to have researched
– Parish and town where parish is located that they would have attended
– What record(s) you are looking for.
